IDEA changes a single letter of the IKEA logo, K into D. It was a personal challenge: to reproduce complex typography with tape alone, and to invent the D from the other letters of the logo, with nothing but calculations, rulers and tape. The letters of the new word are painted with a toothbrush, then blended into the ground with matt varnish. They recall a rainy day outside a vast IKEA shopping centre, a place designed to inspire new ideas for your interior.
