Life is a Bed of Roses (un roman) was a group exhibition conceived by Stéphanie Moisdon at the Fondation d’entreprise Ricard, Paris, from 27 May to 4 July 2015, the year I completed the Master she directed at ECAL. It took shape over a year of workshops, around a film by Alain Resnais. I showed #aaafff (Mach 6), 2014–2015, from the #aaafff series: acrylic and blackout fabric with a Mach 6, the car from the film Speed Racer. To me, Speed Racer is the story of a small company run by caring people who work together to build a racing car. The piece is now in a private collection.
