This series consists of 9 bowls and 12 plates produced at Cerámica Los Arrayanes in Granada during a 2022 trip with Matthew Lutz-Kinoy, where we each produced ceramic sets. The series explores words on various qualities of backgrounds and glaze associations, intended to resonate with the food served upon them. The pieces were fired a second time in Arles, covering the lettering carved into the glaze.
