36° 58’ 29,28” N 24° 44’ 51,918” E 3,69 m is the point where the photograph behind the painting was taken, 3.69 m above the sea, by the chapel of the Seven Martyrs below Kastro on Sifnos, in the Cyclades. In the series I began in January 2026, each canvas is titled with the identifier of its source; for this one, the identifier is a place. It is the largest canvas of the series, two metres long and turquoise. The title fixes a point of view; the sea it looks at has no fixed shape.
