Synallagma Show was a group exhibition curated by Elisa Langlois at Espace Quark, Geneva, in 2014. I showed #aaafff (B.A.A.), also titled #aaafff (Bande Adhésive Antidérapante), a piece from the #aaafff series. Each of these canvases, in acrylic and blackout fabric, contains an object that it does not show; the colour, the hexadecimal web code #aaafff, stands for my initials, AF. Each piece rests on the same loop: canvas and colour, then the invisible object, then the label, which tells what the object is. Elisa Langlois went on to curate Spectre, my first solo exhibition, at Quark in 2015.
