I showed four works under the title Boom in Half Time, a group exhibition at ECAL in Renens on 21 and 22 January 2015: Kasimir (Rose Pâle), acrylic and cotton duck on a pillow; #aaafff (Mur Grec), from the #aaafff series, acrylic and blackout fabric with lime and dispersion paint; a small gouache on Arches paper, print and cardboard, listed as Elizabeth Taylor in my 2016 captions; and MC (Taupe), acrylic and cotton duck on a ladder. My interest in Elizabeth Taylor began with Warhol’s POPism, where he writes about Boom, her 1968 film of Tennessee Williams’s play The Milk Train Doesn’t Stop Here Anymore.
